Virgin Atlantic has unveiled its newest Clubhouse lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), offering travelers a premium pre-flight experience that blends Hollywood glamour with wellness-focused amenities. Located in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, the lounge officially opened on March 28, 2025, marking a significant addition to Virgin Atlantic’s global network of Clubhouses.

A Hollywood-Inspired Experience
The 4,400-square-foot lounge pays homage to Los Angeles with features designed to evoke the city’s vibrant personality. Guests are greeted with a red carpet entry, setting the tone for an A-list experience. The Ruby Room cinema allows travelers to enjoy films with wireless Bluetooth headsets, while The Royal Box provides an exclusive VIP space with adjustable mood lighting and a secret menu.

“LA is really special to us; we consider it like a second home,” said Corneel Koster, Virgin Atlantic’s Chief Customer and Operating Officer. “This new LA Clubhouse is very much an homage to the City of Angels.”

Wellness and Relaxation
The Zen Den is a standout feature of the lounge fees, offering guided meditations, stretches, and exercises via the Forme Studio smart fitness mirror. Guests can use yoga mats, weights, and blocks to unwind before their flight. The space also includes circadian lighting designed to align travelers’ rhythms for optimal relaxation. For post-workout refreshment, herbal products from Flamingo Estate are available. This relaxation is especially valuable because travel is fraught with stress, privacy issues being just one concern.

Dining and Drinks
The Clubhouse menu combines British classics such as fish and chips with LA-inspired dishes like California rolls and tofu pho. Guests can order food via QR codes for delivery to their seats. The signature cocktail, Twisted Angel—a gin and Aperol creation—adds to the lounge’s vibrant atmosphere.

Access and Eligibility
The Clubhouse is available to Virgin Atlantic Upper Class passengers, Flying Club Gold members, and Delta One travelers flying internationally. Guests can also utilize Delta One’s exclusive check-in area at Terminal 3 arrivals for expedited security and concierge services.

A Strategic Investment
Virgin Atlantic spent $2 million refurbishing the space, which was previously occupied by Etihad Airways before its departure from LAX in 2021. The airline pays $1.2 million annually in rent to Los Angeles World Airports.

With this opening, Virgin Atlantic now operates six Clubhouses globally, including locations in London Heathrow (LHR), New York JFK, Washington Dulles (IAD), San Francisco (SFO), and Johannesburg (JNB). The LAX Clubhouse further cements Virgin Atlantic’s reputation for delivering unique luxury experiences tailored to local cultures.
